Christina Grdovic Baltz is vice president and publisher of Food & Wine magazine, the market share leader of the epicurean category. An 11-year Food & Wine veteran, Christina oversees sales and marketing for the American Express Publishing title that has an audience of 6.9 million readers with a passionate interest in, and an adventurous approach to, cooking, wine, entertaining, restaurants, and travel. Currently, the Food & Wine brand includes, a successful branded book business, and Food & Wine China, the publication’s first international edition that debuted last year.

Christina became publisher in October 2007; previously, she served as associate publisher since 2006. Christina joined Food & Wine in 1996 as event marketing manager, directing the publications signature event, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. She was later promoted to marketing director in 2000 and associate publisher of marketing in 2005. During her tenure, she has directed and conceived countless marketing programs including Food & Wine’s partnership with Bravo’s “Top Chef”, the magazine’s presenting sponsorship at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and the Holland America Culinary Arts Program.

Prior to being recruited to Food & Wine, Christina worked in advertising at Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners.

Grdovic Baltz divides her time between Brooklyn and Southampton, NY with her husband, Philip Baltz, and their son.
