Anita is the Director of Social Media and Blogging for MomsRising.org. Working across the organization, as well as with external policy partners, MomsRising’s social media strategic development has become integrated with every campaign. Reaching out in both creative and tried-and-true ways, MomsRising’s social media reach is now in the millions, with active, diverse and influential communities on a variety of social platforms.

Anita leads the innovative social media campaigns that spur grassroots action, organizational growth and partnerships, and lawmakers’ attention. Her social media strategies have also gained earned media for MomsRising.

Anita earned her AB from UC Berkeley and her JD from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she focused on women’s rights and human rights.
